Installation:

Installing QuickStick Studs or Hooks is quick and hassle-free! Follow these simple steps for the best results:

  1. Choose the Right Surface: Ensure the surface is smooth, clean, and dry. Ideal surfaces include wood, glass, acrylic, mirrors, metal, and smooth tiles. Avoid rough or uneven surfaces like cement, mosaic, or degraded walls.
  2. Clean the Area: Use a damp cloth or cleaning solution to remove dust, grease, or debris from the application surface. Allow it to dry completely.
  3. Peel the Backing: Carefully peel off the adhesive backing from the base. Avoid touching the adhesive to maintain its strength.
  4. Apply Firmly: Press the base of the QuickStick onto the chosen surface. Hold it in place for 15-30 seconds to ensure a secure bond. For optimal adhesion, we recommend allowing the adhesive to settle on the surface for 24 hours before use. Important: For QuickStick Studs, ensure the stem of the stud is pointing down. This is critical for optimizing the weight capacity of the stud. See picture below for reference.
  5. Attach the Item: Once the base is securely mounted, screw your item onto the post or hook it onto the system as needed.
  6. Test the Hold: Before placing heavier items, check the bond by gently tugging on the post. If secure, it’s ready to use!

Removal:

Removing QuickStick is simple and damage-free. Follow these steps:

  1. Remove the Attached Item: Gently unscrew or detach the item from the adhesive post or hook.
  2. Peel Off Slowly: Starting at one edge of the adhesive base, carefully peel it away from the surface. Work slowly to prevent damage to the wall or surface.
  3. Use Heat (If Needed): For painted, wallpaper, sheetrock, or damaged walls, apply gentle heat with a hairdryer for 20-30 seconds to soften the adhesive, making it easier to remove. This may also be necessary for stronger bonds.
  4. Clean the Surface (Optional): Our specially designed adhesive rarely leaves residue behind, but if any adhesive residue remains, wipe it off with a damp cloth or a mild adhesive remover.

QuickStick products are designed to adhere to a wide variety of surfaces, making them ideal for organizing and decorating nearly any space in your home or office. Below is a guide to the best surface types and important considerations for each.

✅ Suitable Surfaces

QuickStick works best on smooth, clean, and non-porous surfaces. Here are some ideal options:

  • Windows & Glass – Great for mounting organizers or seasonal décor.
  • Mirrors – Perfect for bathroom and bedroom use.
  • Smooth Tiles – Ideal for use in kitchens, bathrooms, and laundry areas.
  • Mosaic Tiles – Can work well, but a flat and uniform surface is important. Avoid uneven grout lines or raised edges.
  • Acrylic & Plastic – Reliable adhesion on clear or colored plastic materials.
  • Metal – Adheres well to stainless steel and other smooth metals.
  • Wooden Furniture & Doors – Suitable for polished, sealed wooden surfaces.
  • Painted Walls – Compatible with many painted surfaces, but caution is advised. Recommend testing on an inconspicuous area first.
  • Cement or Brick Walls – Can be used if the surface is sealed, relatively smooth, and clean. Avoid rough or crumbly textures.

❌ Unsuitable Surfaces

Avoid using QuickStick on:

  • Heavily Textured or Uneven Walls – Irregular surfaces prevent full contact and reduce holding strength.
  • Degraded or Peeling Walls – Surfaces in poor condition may not hold adhesive properly and could be further damaged on removal.
  • Papered Walls – Such as drywall or wallpaper. Adhesive may cause damage to when removed. Recommend testing on an inconspicuous area first.

Installation Tip: For best performance, clean the surface thoroughly before applying. Make sure it’s dry, dust-free, and grease-free. Allow the adhesive to bond for several hours before adding weight.
