Applicable Surfaces
QuickStick products are designed to adhere to a wide variety of surfaces, making them ideal for organizing and decorating nearly any space in your home or office. Below is a guide to the best surface types and important considerations for each.
✅ Suitable Surfaces
QuickStick works best on smooth, clean, and non-porous surfaces. Here are some ideal options:
- Windows & Glass – Great for mounting organizers or seasonal décor.
- Mirrors – Perfect for bathroom and bedroom use.
- Smooth Tiles – Ideal for use in kitchens, bathrooms, and laundry areas.
- Mosaic Tiles – Can work well, but a flat and uniform surface is important. Avoid uneven grout lines or raised edges.
- Acrylic & Plastic – Reliable adhesion on clear or colored plastic materials.
- Metal – Adheres well to stainless steel and other smooth metals.
- Wooden Furniture & Doors – Suitable for polished, sealed wooden surfaces.
- Painted Walls – Compatible with many painted surfaces, but caution is advised. We highly recommend using our Painter's Tape Hack (see Installation Step 2) for these surfaces.
- Cement or Brick Walls – Can be used if the surface is sealed, relatively smooth, and clean. Avoid rough or crumbly textures.
❌ Unsuitable Surfaces
Avoid using QuickStick on:
- Heavily Textured or Uneven Walls – Irregular surfaces prevent full contact and reduce holding strength.
- Degraded or Peeling Walls – Surfaces in poor condition may not hold adhesive properly and could be further damaged on removal.
- Papered Walls – Such as standard drywall or wallpaper. Adhesive may cause damage when removed unless the proper removal steps are followed carefully.
Installation Guide
Installing QuickStick Studs or Hooks is quick and hassle-free! Follow these simple steps for the best results:
Step 1: Prep the Surface Wipe the application surface clean with a damp cloth or cleaning solution to remove dust and grease. Let it dry completely.
Step 2: The Painter's Tape Hack (Optional) Applying to painted drywall? Place a strip of standard painter's tape down first, then stick the QuickStick product directly to the tape for guaranteed damage-free removal. Note: Weight capacity is limited to the strength of the tape when using this method.

Step 3: Peel the Backing Carefully peel the protective film off the back of the adhesive base. Avoid touching the adhesive to maintain maximum strength.

Step 4: Press and Wait Press the base firmly against the surface, rubbing out any air bubbles, for 30 seconds. For optimal adhesion, wait 24 hours before hanging any weight on it.
- Important: For QuickStick Studs, ensure the stem is pointing down. This is critical for optimizing the weight capacity of the stud.

Step 5: Hang Your Item Attach your item! QuickStick Hooks and Studs hold up to 13.5 lbs, while our Heavy Duty Hooks hold up to 22 lbs.
- Note: Weight capacity is reduced the more textured the surface is.
- Bonus Feature: QuickStick Hooks can rotate 180° so they can be mounted flat on walls or underneath cabinets and shelves!
Removal Guide (Drywall & Painted Surfaces)
QuickStick is designed to hold strong, which means removing it from painted or drywall surfaces requires a little patience to avoid damage.
🚨 CAUTION: Never rip or pull the adhesive dry from painted walls or drywall, as this will tear the paint or paper!

Step 1: Apply Heat Remove your hung item. Apply heat with a hairdryer or heat gun on a medium/high setting for 30 to 60 seconds. This safely softens the strong adhesive bond.

Step 2: Detach Gently While the adhesive is still warm, use a piece of dental floss to gently "saw" behind the adhesive base from top to bottom. Alternatively, you can carefully push a flat paint scraper behind the edge to lift it away.

Step 3: Clean the Surface (Optional) Our specially designed adhesive rarely leaves residue behind, but if any stickiness remains, simply wipe it off with a damp cloth, warm soapy water, or a mild adhesive remover.
